The Grindstone Lake Association (GLA) is a group responsible for the management of Little Grindstone Lakes aquatic invasive species (AIS), with the species of particular concern being Potamogeton crispus (curly-leaf pondweed CLP). Stantec Consulting Services, Incorporated (Stantec) was contacted by the Association to provide a chemical herbicide treatment and an aquatic plant survey. Stantec furnished all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to perform all operations in connection with the chemical application of herbicides in select locations of the GLA. This report provides a summary of observations, conclusions and recommendations for the chemical treatment of AIS and nuisance aquatic plant growth from 2013 and for the upcoming 2014 season.
