Friends of Lower Nine Lake are sponsoring a phased large scale lake planning grant project to study Lower Nine Mile Lake, in Vilas County. The project will focus on developing a Lake Management Plan for Lower Nine Mile Lake. Phases 1 and 2 were funded in Aug 2010 and Phase 3 was funded in Feb 2011. Phase 3 project activities include: Develop a Lake Management Plan. Project deliverables include: Lake Management Plan. Specific conditions for this project: Draft of plan needs Dept review and approval WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of Lake Management Plan, and all maps and GIS data from project.
