Purpose
This free workshop runs from 6-9pm in Washington County. The workshop will be held at the Erin Town Hall, 1846 State Hwy 83 S, Hartford, WI. To register, or for more information, contact Paul Klein, Washington Co. AIS Coordinator, at 262-335-4806 or paul.klein@co.washington.wi.us. The Clean Boats, Clean Waters (CBCW) watercraft inspection program provides an opportunity to learn how and why educational awareness is vitally important in preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS). This workshop will provide attendees with an overview of AIS, instructions on how to organize an effective watercraft inspection program, and hands-on training for watercraft inspections and AIS identification. For more information on the CBCW program, visit http://www.uwsp.edu/cnr/uwexlakes/cbcw.
