Clean Boats, Clean Waters / Citizen Lake Monitoring Workshop in Horicon 4/16/2011

Purpose

This free workshop runs from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm in Dodge County. The workshop will be held in the DNR Horicon Service Center, N7725 Highway 28, Horicon, WI 53032. The Clean Boats, Clean Waters (CBCW) watercraft inspection program provides an opportunity to learn how and why educational awareness is vitally important in preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS). This workshop will provide attendees with an overview of AIS, instructions on how to organize an effective watercraft inspection program, and hands-on training for watercraft inspections and AIS identification.
