Purpose
This free workshop runs from 2-5pm in Waupaca County. The workshop will be held at the Hartman Lake Shelter Building in Hartman Creek State Park, N2480 Hartman Creek Rd, Waupaca, WI 54981. To register, or for more information, contact Brenda Nordin, Lake MI Basin AIS Specialist, at 920-662-5435 or brenda.nordin@wisconsin.gov. The Clean Boats, Clean Waters (CBCW) watercraft inspection program provides an opportunity to learn how and why educational awareness is vitally important in preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species (AIS). This workshop will provide attendees with an overview of AIS, instructions on how to organize an effective watercraft inspection program, and hands-on training for watercraft inspections and AIS identification.
