Purpose
The Friends and the River Alliance are presenting a training to identify emerging invasives that impact waterways and an afternoon paddle on Lulu Lake and the Mukwonago River on August 3. The Friends of the Mukwonago River host a Project RED classroom training and paddle to teach citizens how to monitor for invasive species in rivers and lakes. Paddlers, fishermen, recreational users, water quality monitors, shoreline owners, and river enthusiasts are encouraged to attend. The Project RED training is scheduled for Wednesday, August 3rd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Nature Conservancy ‘s Lulu Lake Preserve. A paddle will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
