DEER LAKE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION: Deer Lake APM Implementation

Purpose

Deer Lake Improvement Association is sponsoring a 3-year project to implement approved activities from the Deer Lake Aquatic Plant Management Plan. These activities include chemically treating curlyleaf pondweed in a limited number of high-density areas, pre/post treatment aquatic plant surveys and bed mapping; and newsletter and sign updates. Deliverables include GIS maps of areas monitored; aquatic plant survey results (spreadsheets and narrative summary); newsletters and updated sign photo; and a management/treatment summary. Special Condition: WDNR\2019s pre/post treatment monitoring guideline should be followed. This scope summarizes the project detail provided in the application and does not negate tasks/deliverables described therein. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator.
