River Protection Grants

Purpose

River management grants up to $50,000 are available for purposes that include purchase of land or a conservation easement, local ordinance development, installation of nonpoint source pollution control practices and river restoration activities. Management grant funds may also be used for education, planning and design activities necessary for completion of a management project.
