LAKE RIPLEY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Lake Ripley Survey of Nearshore Fish Populations

Purpose

Lake Ripley Management District will survey the sensitive near-shore populations of fishes that are indicator species of lake water quality and health habitat. This information will update the lake's comprehensive management plan and identify areas that should be protected, as well as inform the lake harvesting operation plan. The data will also be compared with previous surveys from the 1970's and from 2004 to assess changes in these sensitive species. In addition to the final report, a presentation will be given at a local lake forum.
