Three Lakes Waterfront Association, Inc. is sponsoring a large scale lake planning grant to study Virgin Lake, in Oneida County. The project will continue the process of EWM monitoring and removal, and developing a Lake Management Plan (LMP) for Virgin Lake. Project activities include: 1) EWM survey and monitoring; 2) Hire CBCW coordinator and assistant; 3) Volunteer watercraft inspections and AIS monitoring; 4) Data entry of inspection and monitoring forms into SWIMS; 5) Develop AIS educational and informational items (packets, coasters, vests, buoys); 6) Develop final report summarizing activities and giving future EWM monitoring and control guidance, Project deliverables include: 1) EWM monitoring data; 2) CBCW coordinator; 3) Entered inspection and monitoring data into SWIMS; 4) Educational items; 5) Final report.
