WAUPACA COUNTY: Lower Little Wolf, Heimbruch

Purpose
This Targeted Runoff Management grant amendment substitutes the name of the new owners of the farm (Heimbruch) for that of the former owners (Steingraber) and extends the grant period to December 31, 2014. It also adjusts the BMPs to correspond to the change from a dairy operation to a beef operation. To cost-share design and installation of barnyard and manure management systems to control runoff to the Lower Little Wolf River and prevent winter spreading and address the NR 151 Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to manure storage facilities-new/significant alterations, nutrient management and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state.
