Purpose

Cost-share installation of barnyard and manure management systems to prevent groundwater contamination from agricultural runoff containing nutrients, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms and to address violations of the NR 151 Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to: manure storage facilities-new/significant alterations, process wastewater handling, clean water diversions, nutrient management, and prevention of unconfined manure piles in water quality management areas.
