Purpose

Cost-share retrofit installation of manure management systems to prevent groundwater and surface water contamination from agricultural runoff containing nutrients, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms and to address violations of the NR 151 Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to: manure storage facilities-new/significant alterations, manure storage facilities-existing failing/leaking, manure storage facilities-closure, and prevention of overflow from manure storage facilities.
