Purpose

Rice Lake Property Owners Association is sponsoring a small scale lake planning grant to study Rice Lake, Iron County. The project will focus on completing a critical habitat survey on Rice Lake. Project activities include: 1) Conduct critical habitat survey; 2) Stakeholder involvement and educational activities: kick-off meeting, press releases and newsletter articles; 3) Develop final report. Project deliverables include: 1) Critical habitat survey data and maps; 2) Press releases and newsletter articles; 3) Final report. Specific conditions for this project: - Final report needs Dept review and approval. WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) copy of final report, all maps and data from the project and any other educational products from project.
