Purpose

To cost-share installation of manure management systems in response to existing overflows of agricultural runoff containing nutrients, bacteria and other pathogenic organisms affecting Beaver Creek and to address violations of the NR 151 Agricultural Performance Standards and Prohibitions relating to: manure storage facilities-new/significant alterations, manure storage facilities-closure, clean water diversions, nutrient management, prevention of unconfined manure piles in water quality management areas, and prevention of direct runoff from a feedlot or stored manure into waters of the state.
