Purpose

Baseline streams monitoring project focusing on monitoring watersheds and determining management actions at the HUC 12 scale. Specific parameters and collection fequncies will vary depending on the monitoring objectives of each particular watershed.

Study Design

Multiple SWIMS stations located on multiple streams within a HUC12 watershed. Standard DNR SOPs will be used for grab water chemistry samples, macroinvertebrate collections, fish community assessments and habitat surveys.
