Purpose

Adams Co. LWCD proposes to continue providing AIS coordination for lakes and other waterways within the county. Major project elements to include: a) AIS control plan development, b) coordination of citizen monitoring and CBCW activities, c) aquatic plant surveys, d) biological control, e) AIS treatment residue testing, and f) final report.

Citizen-Based Stream Monitoring
Collect chemical, physical, and/or biological water quality data to assess the current overall stream health. The data can inform management decisions and may be used to identify impaired waters for biennial lists.
