Appendices from the APMP for Minocqua Lake; years 2015-2016.
This plan is an Aquatic Plant Management Plan (APMP). An APMP is required to be prepared and formally approved by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in order to qualify for a wide array of grants to study, plan and manage the lakes. The first APMP was produced in 2009 and this 2015-16 plan is the result of the evaluation and revamping of the 2009 plan. This plan was produced with extensive public input and will help guide the Minocqua-Kawaguesaga Lake Protection Association (MKLPA) and the Wisconsin DNR in managing the aquatic plant community in Minocqua Lake, Kawaguesaga Lake, Minocqua Thoroughfare, and a portion of the Tomahawk Thoroughfare over the next five years (2016-2020) at which point it will be evaluated in 2021.
