Purpose

For 2014-2016, the Waterford Waterway Mgt. District will conduct pre-treatment aquatic plant point intercept (PI) surveys, herbicide treating targeting Eurasian water-milfoil (EWM) & curly-leaf pondweed (CLP), post-treatment aquatic plant PI surveys and reports and Clean Boats Clean Waters (CBCW) boat landing staffing. Boat trailer cleaning equipment and signage will be updated at boat landings. In addition, the District will hand harvest areas of AIS growth. They will also build and install duck nest boxes. Deliverables will include maps and data sheets from pre and post treatment PI surveys and an annual report summarizing treatment and vegetation response.
