GOLDEN SANDS RC&D: Reg. AIS Spec. 5

Purpose

Golden Sands RC&D seeks continued funding for Regional Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS)Coordinator, Education Specialist, Technician, Administrative Coordinator, and additional staff positions to coordinate AIS control and outreach efforts within Marathon, Portage, Waupaca, Waushara, and Wood Counties. Major project elements to include: 1) Outreach and training, 2) Lake and AIS monitoring, 3) Clean Boats, Clean Water inspections, outreach and signage, 4) Assistance with AIS control, and 5) Water access mapping.
