1/11/19: NEUMANN CALLED FIRE CHIEF MCGOWAN. MCGOWAN INDICATED THAT WHILE TRANSFERRING FUEL TO AN AIRCRAFT, APPROXIMATELY 5 GALLONS RELEASED ONTO THE CONCRETE AIRCRAFT APRON. AIRPORT FIRE DEPARTMENT CLEANED THE JET FUEL RELEASE WITH ABSORBENT PADS, AND THE PADS WERE DISPOSED OF.
MCGOWAN INDICATED NO IMPACTS TO WATERWAYS, SEWERS, OR GRASS, JUST TO CONCRETE AND CONTAINED/CLEANED UP. NO DNR ASSISTANCE WAS REQUESTED.
BASED ON THE AVAILABLE INFORMATION, IMPACTS REMOVED AND NO FURTHER ACTIONS ARE NECESSARY. |
