WHITEWATER-RICE LAKE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT: Whitewater Lake Management Planning
Consolidate data gathered by the DNR, U.S.G.S. and others to identify potential point and nonpoint sources, quantify inputs and evaluate the water budget of the system. Quantify the extrent of any existing water quantity and quality problems. Assess the demand for, and types of, water-based recreation on and around the lakes, their impacts on the lakes and the degree to which they are met. Identify specific planning and management needs. Formulate appropriate holistic plans to protect and manage the lakes.
