LITTLE ST GERMAIN LAKE P & R DISTRICT: Lt. St. Germain Lake AIS Monitoring & Control Project

Little St Germain Lake P&R District is sponsoring an AIS ACEI grant on Little St Germain Lake, in Vilas County.

This project will focus on AIS management and completing an updated management plan.

Project activities include:

1) Herbicide treatments of CLP and EWM;

2) Pre/post treatment monitoring and analysis;

3) Herbicide concentration monitoring;

4) Point-intercept (PI) aquatic plant survey, acoustic survey and aquatic plant community mapping;

5) Stakeholder participation planning meetings and survey;

6) Shoreline and woody habitat assessment;

7) Develop treatment report and an updated management plan.
