BIG ARBOR VITAE LAKE ASSOC: Big Arbor Vitae Lake Management Planning Project, Phase 1
Big Arbor Vitae Lake Association is sponsoring phased large scale lake planning grant project to study Big Arbor Vitae Lake, in Vilas County. The project will focus on developing a Lake Management Plan (LMP) for Big Arbor Vitae Lake. An application for Phase 3 of the LMP will be submitted for funding consideration in August 2011. Phase 1 project activities include: 1) Stakeholder participation 2013 stakeholder survey, planning meetings (up to 2), kick-off meeting, news release(s), and newsletter article; 2) Water quality sampling and analysis; 3) Watershed assessment and Phosphorus load modeling; 4) Fisheries assessment.
