The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) maintains a searchable database of information on activities related to property assessments and investigations, contamination, cleanup or redevelopment activities.
The list below includes cleanup activities where the DNR took actions using the state's Environmental Fund. The state may take action when the responsible party is unknown or is unable or unwilling to pay for the necessary investigation and/or remediation. The list does not include locations where DNR provided temporary emergency drinking water or DNR responses to emergency spills or abandoned containers. The data are updated following the end of the state fiscal year.
BRRTS data comes from various sources, both internal and external to the DNR. There may be omissions and errors in the data and delays in updating new information.
