Water is impaired due to one or more pollutants and associated quality impacts.
Notes
This water is part of the Lower Fox River TP & TSS TMDL that was approved by the EPA in 2012.

Garners Creek was evaluated for phosphorus and biology every two-year cycle from 2018 to 2024; phosphorus levels were found to be too high, which was reflected in poor fish community condition.

This portion of Garners Creek was also evaluated for chloride in 2016. Chloride levels were too high for healthy plant, bug, and fish communities. This water is covered by a watershed plan: Lower Fox River NPS Watershed Plan (2029).
