Portage County proposes to do a study of numerous lakes within the county for the purpose of water quality study. This is a multi-phase project that has 2 areas of focus. This project activities for this phase of the Portage county lakes study includes: 1) Water quality acquisition and assessment of 29 lakes, 2) Herptology study on 29 lakes, and 3) Summary report. The Department will be provided with a paper and electronic copy of the final report.
