LAKE REDSTONE PROTECTION DISTRICT: Lake Redstone Lake Water Quality Improvement Planning

Purpose

Obtain background information on the lake's problems to help in determining the best and the most cost effective method of improving the lake water quality. Reduce the severity and frequency of algae blooms in Lake Redstone. Reduce or eliminate the need to use copper sulfate to control these algae blooms. The grantee will disseminate information to the public by newsletter mailings, fact sheet distributions, public neetings, summary report mailings, and a comprehensive management plan. Project results will be reposited at the Lake Redstone Protection District and the LaValle Town Hall.
