LAKE REDSTONE P & R DISTRICT: Lake Redstone Ag Land Use Classification & Evaluation

Purpose

The Lake Redstone Protection and Rehabilitation District proposes to update the Lake Redstone watershed inventory to identify the major sources of sediment and phosphorus loading and recommend management strategies. Project activities under this grant agreement include 1) inventory and classification of land uses, 2) review of county and state historical records, 3) evaluation and recommendation of management strategies and associated cost estimates, and 4) a final report. The sponsor will disseminate information to the public by newsletter, public meeting, summary report mailing, local and newspaper article. The sponsor will also provide the Department of Natural Resources with a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. end.
