GEORGE LAKE INLAND LAKE R & P DISTRICT: George Lake Management Plan Update

Purpose

The George Lake Inland Lake Rehabilitation and Protection District proposes to update the management plan developed from the 1978 feasibility study with new cost data and verification of original findings. Project activities will include determination of whether the original disposal sites for sediment are still available along with lab and field tests of the sediments and the disposal sites. A lake usage ordinance will also be drafted for the district. Information about the project will be disseminated to the public by public meeting and entire report mailings.
