Fox Lake Inland Protection and Management District proposes two ordinance development projects on Fox Lake. Fox Lake District is proposing both a wastewater and lake use ordinances be developed. The following list of activities is included in this project;1) redifine Lake districts authority to better perform it's responsibilities, 2) include complete citizen education about wastewater ordinance, 3) develope lake use zoning plan, 4) with zoning plan highlight habitat protection of sensitive areas. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by newsletters, fact sheets, public meetings and local newspaper articles.
