Town of Newbold proposes to review and evaluate Oneida County's proposed shoreland ordinance revisions and lake classification system and compare it to its own lake related policies to develop a town code of shoreland, lake protection and land division ordinances integrating the county's system with its own. Deliverables will include a draft and final report summarizing the project's development, achievements including the following: 1) an evaluation and comparison of the county's and town's shoreland protection programs; 2) a description of the educational strategy and copies of printed information and education materials; 3) proposed and final copies of revised shoreland ordinances, stormwater management, erosion control and other regulations protecting lakes and 4) published maps and other public information materials.
