TOWN OF WASCOTT: Aquatic Invasion & Protection Control

Purpose
The Town of Wascott, in cooperation with the Whitefish Lake Conservation Organization, Inc. proposes to conduct a watercraft inspection and public education program at the Whitefish Lake Public Landing beginning May 29th, 2004, and lasting through September 6th, 2004. A total of 987 hours will be put in by monitors at a cost of $7.50/hour during this time frame. Specific deliverables of this project will include an account of the total hours put in by the monitors on a daily basis and a summary of the number of people reached by the monitors. The DNR will be provided with both a paper and electronic copy of any end of year summary reports that are generated as a result of this monitoring and inspection program.
