The Gilbert Lake Advancement Association, Inc., proposes to conduct an aquatic plant survey on Gilbert Lake in 2001. The whole lake aquatic plant survey results will be used to document changes in the aquatic plant community in response to herbicide treatments and to evaluate effectiveness of these treatments in controlling Eurasian watermilfoil. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and electronic copy of the survey results. The survey results will also be disseminated to all lake residents and other supporting organizations via whater method the Association chooses.
