Bughs Lake Property Owners' Association proposes to conduct an aquatic plant survey and collect water quality data on Bughs Lake in the summer of 2002. The whole lake aquatic plant survey and water chemistry analysis results will be used to document changes in the aquatic plant community and water quality in response to the whole lake Sonar (fluridone) treatment and to evaluate the effectiveness of this treatment and the proposed 2002 2,4-D treatment in controlling Eurasian watermilfoil. The distribution of any Eurasian watermilfoil will be mapped. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and electronic copy of the annual report. The annual report will also be disseminated to all lake residents via the Bughs Lake Property Owners' Association newsletter.
