Bughs Lake Property Owners' Association proposes to conduct an aquatic plant survey and collect water quality data on Bughs Lake in the summer of 2001. The whole lake aquatic plant survey and water chemistry analysis results will be used to document changes in the aquatic plant community and water quality in response to the whole lake Sonar (fluridone) treatment and to evaluate the effectiveness of this treatment in controlling Eurasian watermilfoil. The DNR will be provided with both a paper copy and electronic copy of the survey results. The survey results will also be disseminated to all lake residents via the Bughs Lake Property Owners' Association newsletter.
