LAKE NAPOWAN IMPROVEMENT ASSN: Lake Napowan APM Study

Purpose

The Lake Napowan Improvement Association proposes to conduct a comprehensive Aquatic Plant Management Plan, and secondly to sample water quality, once, during the summer, to begin a characterization of trophic condition. This Aquatic Plant Management Plan will include the following: Watershed overview; overview discussion of plant ecology; lake specific overview of practical techniques for plant managaement; issue, problems, and challenges; goals and objectives; strategy; plant mapping; information and education; plant surveys;and a contingency plan. A final report will be provided both in hard copy form and electronic form. Refer to grant application and lake coordinator for further requirements.
