WISCONSIN ASSOCIATION OF LAKES, INC.: Lake Leaders Institute Training

Purpose

Scope for WAL's Lake Leader's Institute Grant This grant is to educate highly motivated citizens who want to take a greater leadership role in managing and protecting Wisconsin's lakes. The grant will help to fund the Lake Leader's Institute, a leadership course set up by the Wisconsin Lakes Partnership. Funds will be used to offset the costs to provide printed materials, rent boats for on-lake training, and rent classrooms for training and lodging. The grant deliverable will be the Institute training of the participants, and a short report about the 2004 training including the number of participants, and the agenda that was used in teaching the course.
