Lakes Planning Report

The Oneida County Lakes and Rivers Association proposes to hold a regional lake fair to provide hands on educational programming and educational resources on lake and water management issues. Project activities include water quality monitoring demonstrations, shoreland zoning and regulation education, shoreland landscaping information, information on lake association organization, lake user conflict education, water craft safety demonstrations, tournament fishing pros and cons, and information the loon watch program. The Sponsor will prepare a final report including the results of the lake far. Information about the lake fair will be disseminated to the public by newsletter mailing, public meeting, local newspaper article and final report mailing.
