Purpose

The Gilbert Lake Advancement Association proposes to evaluate milfoil control and survey aquatic plants with emphasis on management relative to Eurasion watermilfoil. The survey will conform to line transect protocol as accepted by and used by the DNR and include mapping of EWM . A secondary objective will be to develop a report evaluating, analyzing and summarizing the data collected within the lakes self-help program. A final report will be submitted to the DNR, both hard copy and electronic form. See grant application and lake coordinator for further requirements.
