GILBERT LAKE ADVANCMENT ASSOCIATION INC: Gilbert Lake 2002 Aquatic Plant Survey

Purpose

Gilbert Lake Advancement Association, Inc. proposes to conduct an aquatic plant survey on Gilbert Lake in 2002. The whole lake aquatic plant survey results will be used to document changes in the aquatic plant community in response to herbicide treatments and to evaluate effectiveness of these treatments in controlling Eurasian watermilfoil. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and electronic copy of the survey results. The annual report will communicate the results of the survey to Lake Association members and other supporting organizations and will recommend any changes to their aquatic plant management plan that are indicated by the survey findings.
