Purpose

Mount Morris Lakes Management District proposes to begin development of a comprehensive lake management plan for Mount Morris Lakes. This project will consist of a collection and compilation of existing data gathered from Mount Morris Lakes and their watersheds, education and property owners participation, residents survey, design and implementation of a strategic mechanical aquatic plant harvesting program, and preparation for expanded studies. A final report summarizing project results will be provided to the Department of Natural Resources in both a paper copy and an electronic copy.
