NELSON LAKE ASSOCIATION: Nelson Lake Comprehensive Mgt. Plan, Phase 2

Purpose

The Nelson Lake Association will conduct a two phase study project to collect information and prepare a lake management plan for Nelson Lake. Specific activities covered in the Phase 2 portion of this project include; conduct of a curly-leaf pondweed survey, conduct of a comprehensive aquatic plant survey, and survey equipment and printing and mailing costs. Specific deliverables for this two-phase study project include: A final project report and comprehensive lake management plan, including all project activity results and lake management alternatives and recommendations. The Department of Natural Resources will be provided with both a paper copy and an electronic copy of the final report. The project results will be disseminated to the public by newsletter(s), public meeting(s), and local newspaper articles.
