CITY OF EVANSVILLE: Lake Leota Watershed Study Phase 2

Purpose

The City of Evansville will use data from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's PLOAD model that were obtained during Phase 1 of this project to assess possible Best Management Practices (BMP's) that would reduce pollution and sediment entering Lake Leota. They will identify the best mix of BMP's to be used at critical locations in the watershed, and will identify programs that will provide technical assistance and funding to property owners who install these BMP's. A full description of the project scope and deliverables for this project is in the grant application, which is a part of this agreement
