ROCK-KOSHKONONG LAKE DISTRICT: LMI-Thiebeau Property Wetland Restoration

Purpose

Rock Koshkonong Lake District will dewater a large shallow marsh to create a mudflat regeneration and replant and seed the area along the Lake Koshkonong shoreline in order to restore the native marsh community. Thiebeau Property: NW 1/4 in Section 4, Township 4 North, Range 13 East, Town of Milton, Rock County, Wisconsin and Government Lots 2,3, and 4 in Section 33, Township 5 North, Range 13 East, Town of Koshkonong, Jefferson County, Wisconsin. A full description of the project scope and project deliverables is in the grant application, which is a part of this agreement. The DNR will be provided with a final report on the results of this project. Information will be disseminated to the public as described in the grant application.
