Purpose

To cost-share installation of manure storage practices to address violations of performance standards.

Objective

New manure storage and clean water diversions constructed at two (2) farm sites (Sections 28 and 32) to address nonpoint pollution (bacteria, nitrates, phosphorus and sediment) runoff to shallow soils.

Outcome

Log- term Manue storage will facilitate appropriate and timely nutrient management on suitable acreage.
