NELSON LAKE ASSOCIATION: Preventing Invasives: Information Kiosks & Key Chains

Purpose

Nelson Lake Association in partnership with the Sawyer County Lakes Forum, Sawyer County LWCD, and the Town of Lenroot is sponsoring a project on Nelson Lake and the Totagatic Flowage to install information kiosks at boat landings and create and distribute educational key rings. Project deliverables include: 1. A project summary, including key chain distribution quantities and recipients and frequency and quantities of materials stocked at kiosks. 2. Photographs, preferably digital, of boat landing signs. 3. An example keychain if different from the one provided with the grant application. Special Conditions 1. Any new identification of an aquatic invasive species must be immediately reported to the Department. 2. Data, records, and reports, including GIS-based maps and digital images, must be submitted to the Department in a format specified by the regional Lake Coordinator. A draft report/deliverables will be submitted to the regional Lake Coordinator for review before finalization.
