Black Oak Lake Riparian Owners Association Inc., will conduct a lake evaluation and update the Phase I Black Oak Lake Adaptive Management Plan with the development of the Phase II Black Oak Lake Management Plan. The project includes: 1) review recent aquatic macrophyte surveys 2) aquatic plant survey using point intercept method and development of aquatic plant management (APM) plan following DNR guidelines 3) conduct a near-shore riparian plan survey 4) detailed analysis of current lake monitoring activities 5) elucidate potential reasons for increase in water clarity in 2005 6) participate in management of Black Oak Lake lake trout population 7) gather and interpret additional historical data on Black Oak Lake 8) integrate Phase II findings into the Phase I Black Oak Lake adaptive management plan.
