WISCONSIN ASSOCIATION OF LAKES, INC.: AIS Train the Trainer Workshop

Purpose
Wisconsin Association of Lakes is sponsoring an Aquatic Invasive Species Education Prevention & Planning project which will focus on providing AIS education training to teachers and the public and also provide the tools needed to extend the training into the community and classrooms across the state. Project activities include: 1) Trees for Tomorrow will host a 3-day AIS Train the Trainers workshop (activities are highlighted on pages 3 and 5 of proposal) 2) Publicize workshop and results in brochure, press releases to newspapers and articles in partners' newsletters and websites 3) Conduct evaluation of workshop Project deliverables include: - Media articles/ releases and newsletter articles - Final report (summarizing workshop and evaluation results) Specific conditions for this project: - Final report needs Dept review and approval WDNR Lakes Management Coordinator will be provided with an electronic (pdf or word) and hard copy of final report, copy of news articles/releases, newsletter articles, and brochure and examples/information of the materials and supplies provided to participants.
