Purpose
Gordon St. Croix Flowage Association is sponsoring a project to better understand most recent EWM control and plan for a future management strategy.
The Project includes: aquatic plant and AIS monitoring, including evaluating the effectiveness of 2015 management; management planning; volunteer AIS monitoring, including shoreland surveys; and education/outreach, including a Kids on the Flowage event in partnership with local school districts.
Deliverables include: entered data, monitoring results and maps, 2016 and 2017 APM Plans, and education/outreach summary with examples of materials developed.
The specific objectives, metrics, and deliverables for the listed activities are included in the application and supporting materials, and this scope is not intended to replace or supersede those documents. The Department may request quarterly progress reports.
